Life has been a bit crazy. I have decided that working two jobs & running two blogs is too much for me at the moment. So I’ll be signing off this blog for now. Perhaps I will return this Fall/Winter when things quiet down. Thank you for reading!

I used Pixler to edit this photo.

The original was quite good, but the contrast needed a little boost. Also, the color was a little grey, so I added an orange and purple overlay. I lightened the edges slightly and sharpened.

Today was quite strange weather-wise. We had a series of rainstorms and short-lived yet intense hailstorm.

I braved the elements and shot these peonies on our porch while under an umbrella.

A couple days ago I sampled the first of our strawberries. They were juicy and sweet.

I can’t wait until we have enough to make shortcake, waffles, and much, much more!

On Easter Sunday, we had a delicious lunch at my Uncle Ken & Aunt Becky’s house. Afterwards the menfolk headed outdoors to play a game of Bocce Ball.
