I'm curious. What size needle did you use to knit the dishcloth using one strand of crochet cotton?

I'm not quite at the halfway point in knitting my first using two strands of crochet cotton, but I can tell I'm going to love it. In addition to the fact that it's not as thick and bulky as those knitted with worsted weight cotton yarn, it almost looks elegant. Not a word I would usually use to describe a dishcloth!

I have for several years now enjoyed using multiple strands of yarn held together and knit. Makes very luxurious scarves and afghans. I use various "fancy" yarns such as eyelash, etc. I combine texures and colors and use large needles to keep the work from becoming too tight or stiff. Very fun, works up fast due to bulk of the 2-3 strands, and is easy to pick up and drop the various strands to make interesting patterns without unravelling the work since a continuous strand runs throughout. Looks very complex and fancy but is really very easy.

I have always oved hand knit dishcloths ut disliked the bulk as well as the "yarn" look they had to them. These with #10 cotton are perfect!! They are think enough, scrub great and the finished look is so much more "high end". I love this pattern. Thanks for sharing!
